Strawberry Fields Forever

Yesterday we went to Eatwell Farm and picked strawberries.
We were able to eat to our heart's delight and take some home (for $1.oo/pound) and they are organic. (What could be wrong with them?). I am making jam today with the 4 pounds we took home. I am going to try this recipe.

It looks simple enough. Wish me luck!

What time is it?

So after all of this traveling I think I am still taking some time to recover. As part of my 'therapy' I created this functional art design in my home office. (Thank you Cole for your engineering expertise and Serena for your cheerleading skills). This way I will always know what time it is in a few of my favorite cities. I could have added a few more cities but I thought that would have been a tad ridiculous. So, when Stephane gets home, he will be in for a good surprise! Unless he is reading now then I guess he has learned what I did to our office.

So today is my first day back at work. And would you believe it...my laptop hard drive crashed! Right now the computer folks are working away at transferring data over to a new hard drive. I will also be getting a new computer because the screen kept on blinking off and on. Isn't it ironic? I think that because today is international labor day, my computer was rebelling against me for making it work. Or maybe it was just its way of saying that it needed a leave of absence too! So I will be getting a fresh start. Isn't that what Spring is all about? I get to recommence and so does my laptop.
